§ 450-14 C(8) Residential accessory building or structure.

(a) Residential accessory building or structure or use are limited to the following, which must meet the requirements listed below:

[1] Parking spaces for parking of passenger automobiles, parking of commercial vehicles not exceeding three-quarter-ton loading capacity within a completely enclosed building.

[2] Structures such as fences, walls, decks, and private swimming pools.

[3] Buildings such as storage sheds, bath houses and private greenhouses.

(b) Area and dimensional requirements for accessory buildings or structures:

[1] No accessory building or structure except for fences and walls shall be permitted in front yards.

[2] Completely detached accessory buildings may occupy a required side or rear yard, but shall not be located closer than six feet to any side or rear property line.

[3] No accessory building shall be closer to the street line than the principal building.

[4] Accessory buildings of 200 square feet or more shall not be located within the required yard areas, but shall meet the required setbacks for the district or use.

[5] Fences and walls shall not exceed six feet in height above the natural grade and may be located in required yard areas, but are not permitted to be located within the future right-of-way.

[6] Uncovered, unenclosed patios or decks may extend not more than 10 feet into the required rear yard only.

[7] Accessory swimming pools and the paving or coping surrounding it or associated with it shall not be located closer to the street than the front building setback line and not closer than 10 feet to any other property line.
